We may collect your name, business name, email address, telephone number, demo requirements, support messages and other information you choose to provide.

When you use StockPortal, we may also process account information, authentication records, storefront settings, products, customers, orders, payment-status information, technical logs and usage information.

How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare and operate demonstrations, provide and secure StockPortal, administer accounts, deliver support, process legitimate business communications and improve the service.

Our lawful bases may include taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations and pursuing our legitimate interests in operating, securing and promoting StockPortal.

Marketing

We may contact business representatives about a requested demo, an existing business relationship or relevant StockPortal services where the law permits. You can ask us to stop marketing communications at any time by replying to the message or contacting us.

Service providers

We use trusted service providers to host and operate StockPortal, manage authentication and databases, deliver email, monitor the service and support payment integrations. These may include Vercel, Supabase, Resend and Stripe.

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing demos, operating customer accounts, resolving disputes, maintaining security records and meeting legal or accounting obligations.

Demo environments may be paused, archived and deleted according to the demo period and recovery settings communicated to the applicant.

Cookies and local storage

StockPortal uses essential cookies and similar storage to provide authentication, tenant selection, shopping-basket functionality and security. We will request consent before using non-essential analytics or advertising technologies where required.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal information, object to certain processing, or request data portability.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
